The Somer Centre, Midsomer Norton, has be converted into a temporary vaccination site delivering over 350 injections a day. Volunteers are supporting the large clinical team outside of the building.

We are now recruiting volunteers to support the vaccination programme being provided by a collective of 9 rural surgeries - 3 Valleys Heath Primary Care Network. As more vaccines become available, the clinical teams are working hard to deliver vaccinations as efficiently as possible. Volunteers can help by welcoming people to the site and with the flow of patients through the process. For this opportunity we can only accept people over 18 years old and below the age of 70. If you are interested in finding out more we first need to check that it is safe for you to volunteer. Please click the following link and complete this mandatory Covid Age check which will generate a secure message to our team. Thank you.

Once you have submitted that form, please follow the next link to register as a volunteer and let us know when you are available for shift at the centre. We will contact you with more information after that has all be completed. Many thanks for your time.
