Listening to Rural Voices: Building a Stronger Network
We're starting a project to help rural communities in the West of England be even stronger. We want to understand the specific challenges people face in rural areas and make sure they have the support they need. We want to understand what services and support are already available, and where the gaps are. We believe this is the first time anyone has looked at all these rural areas together.
If your organisation serves or provides activities for rural communities, we’d love to hear from you! What do you and the people think about what’s strong but also what needs to get better in your area.

Here's what we'll be doing:
Listening to Rural Voices
We'll be gathering information from what people tell us directly through surveys and conversations with local groups like parish councils and village halls. We'll be working with other local organisations to make sure we hear from as many as possible. This will help us understand what's working well and what needs to be improved. We'll then share what we learn with everyone so we can work together on solutions.
Building a Stronger Network
We want to make it easier for local groups to connect and support each other. We'll be improving our website and how we communicate, making sure everyone has access to the information and opportunities they need. We'll also be looking at ways to make joining our network even more beneficial.
